This question is always a struggle so i guess it depends on the players. Here is my struggle...
I currently have R Moss (vs MIA) on my bench but I would like to play him this week. The trouble is in place of whom:
LT vs NYG - keep thinking he still has more to give.
A Bradshaw vs SD - nice runner but a bad wheel.
C Johnson vs SF - Tough D but is a must start.

I have A Johnson and M Colston already starting at WR. Sitting one this guys just is not right.

I can't see how you would ever bench Moss for LT or Bradshaw. This week I would bench Bradshaw.

Yeah, Moss is a must start every week, even ahead of Colston and Calvin if you ask me. LT should never be in that starting lineup.

I hope this is a dynasty league. Otherwise, you need to get in a league where people know how to draft. Those WRs are rediculous.
