Looking at the match ups I think the obvious choice here is Martin,but just wanted to get y'alls feelings.

Tough call. The Jets Offensive Line has been doing more Pass Protection work than Running work, but they may end up wanting to run the ball more often until Vinny gets the cobwebs off after his layoff. EG should get plenty of carries, but it may end up a shootout with Oakland. If you think Tenn will take the early lead and keep it then go EG. Otherwise, take a chance with Martin - he is Martin after all.

I would have to give Martin the edge, Washingtons D-line is brutal and they will want to keep things close to the vest with Vincenzo back at the helm.

I would go with Eddie weekly over Martin. I think Lamont Jordan will steal some carries from my favorite Martin and Eddie's looked great this preseason while Oakland's D hasn't. It's hard to predict how the Jets offense will do considering we haven't really had a chance to see the old man run it this year. At least you know Eddie will be the featured back who will get the rock 20+ times a game.

definately a tuff 1--with all this lamont jordan talk and dual back sets. i would go with eddie just for the simple fact that u kno he is 1) healthy at the moment 2) will get most if not all carries adn def goal line carries. that talk about lamont takin cmarts goallines is hard to swallow, i like cmart but he is banged up and mite be on his way out this yr--good luck!

Last bump I promise just triing to decifer who at the last minute have about 55 min. to decide.

The concenses here seems to be EG but I have also read Jets need to have a strong running game to beat the skins and I really dont want to watch the game and see Martin Martin Martin. I also think that with Vinny in there he will rely on CM for the run and short passes as he may not be ready to come out there with a real explosive big play offense.......Am I crazy??
