Please re-read thru the rules. I have finalized on issues of keepers and waivers. Below is the draft order, scoring rules, and league rules outline. I tried not to get so-overdetailed with them. As far as trades go, I plan to approve everything unless someone is so far out-balanced that I have to reject it. I don't see that as an issue in this league. There will be no votes on such issues.

The league will be hosted on ffbmanager.com, though the draft will take place here. Once I have the league set up on the site, I will let everyone know. I spoke to the site owner and it should be ready for new leagues by tomorrow (August 1st). Long story I don't need to detail.

Draft Order:
1) Sports Genius
2) SkipsCrew
3) Boomer
4) RaiderFan
5) Glassman
6) Burns
7) CrazyCarl
8) RUN HARD
9) TenTimes
10) Iguana
11) DogFood
12) Manzier
13) Ravage
14) Messiah

Passing: 0.1 point per 2.5 yards passing, 4 pts. passing TD, -2 pts. interception thrown

Rush/Rec.: 0.1 point per 1 combined yards, 6 pts. rush/rec TD, 0.5 pt. per reception*

For kickers:
FG under 40 yards = 3 points
FG 40 to 49 yards = 4 points
FG 50+ yards = 5 points
Missed FG under 30 yards = -2 points
Missed FG under 40 yards = -1 point
Thus, any attempt of 40+ yards will have no negative impact.
XP still are +1 or -1 for a miss

Defense/ST: 6 pts. per TD, 2 pts. per turnover, 1 pt. per sack, 2 pts. safety**
Shutout = 5 points
7 or fewer points allowed = 3 points
13 or fewer points allowed = 1 point
I don't want to get too crazy with bonus points here.
If a team allows less than 250 total yards, they will get a 2 point bonus.

2pt. Conv.: 2 pts. pass/rush/rec for all positions (including kicker)

Here is some more info:

We will be using the standard serpentine-style format. We will be able to keep a maximum of 3 players. The format would be that you lose picks starting in the first round and each subsequent round based on your number of keepers. For keeper seasons, I will run the draft order 1 to 14 (rd1), 1 to 14 (rd2), and the third round starting 14 to 1. This way, a team that keeps 3 and won the league does not also have the "advantage" of drafting first in round 4...

There will be an unlimited number of IR slots. Players are only eligible to be placed on IR for conditions of doubtful or worse (or missed the previous game with an injury). I can detail more of that later. We will be using a waiver order - and it will not be worst to best record. It will "rotate". The first week is drawn at random. If the team at the top of the list makes a waiver move, they move to the bottom and so on thru the order. I will explain it further if there is a need. This new list will then be used the following week and so on thru the season. You may make unlimited waiver moves each week, however it will be based on a list and I will process one selection thru the order at a time. I plan to stay away from open free agency. It gives some owners an advantage that others will not have.

Rosters will be 15 players, excluding players on IR. If there is an out-of-balance trade, owners must then balance their rosters. A team who is short a player or more will still have to go by the waiver order to replace the vacant roster spot. A team with too many players must make a drop by the waiver deadline. When a player comes off IR, someone must be dropped.

Remember, email me with questions or issues to oakfieldostrich@yahoo.com. I will open a thread for the draft, but it doesn't officially start until August 1st (12:01 AM, EST). If you want to start picking before that time, I don't mind...

Sorry, you missed that in the earlier emails... QB, 2RB/2WR, TE, K, DEF or you can also use the 1RB/3WR lineup. This is a TE required league.

Expect and email within the next week regarding cuts and draft dates. I also plan to move the site to somewhere with a better interface, most likely to yahoo unless there is an outcry for somewhere else.

No problem... Of course hopefully they ignore the draft order in this thread. Smile
