Almost every mock has Stafford going to Detroit and it looks like he will. With the money you're paying you had better be sure on your pick. IMO Stafford is a bigger risk than several of the OTs.

Smith is in no way the sexy pick but is probably the better pick in the long run.

The Rams have absolutely no depth at WR, and realy no proven starters. Crabtree makes alot of sense in this spot.

A pass rusher was my only other thought for Seattle. The OT is the best value here.

Chiefs get the #1 player in the draft in Curry.

Browns get a stellar player for the defense. I figure there is a very good shot that Crabtree is there at 5. If so, the Browns will be doing a lot of draft day dealing and select Crabtree.

With Crabtree and Maclin both off the board, I went with who I though was the top overall player left on the board for Jacksonville in taking Raji.

The way you posted that selection, it made it sound like you thought he would go a lot sooner. I think he's a sure bet for top 10, hard to say exactly to which team. I have seen some projections of him going to the Browns, but I really don't like the addition of a DT for them as opposed to a DE or LB if they end up selecting defense.

Raji would have been a nice pick for GB. With the conversion to a 3-4 defense it's hard for me to say which position they need more DE, DT, or OLB. So with Raji gone the choice was easier.

Glass asked me to take Stafford for SF. While I thought he wasn't a good pick at #1 for Detroit. At #10 for SF it makes much more sense.

with Cutler now gone, Sanchez will be the pick here if he lasts this long.

I had the selection for the Bills pretty much in place going with the defensive side of the football as they desperately need help in rushing the passer. There are a couple of options here and there is some debate as who is the best DE at that spot (Ayers, Maybin, Brown, etc). With the trade of Peters, they will undoubtedly now go with an OT at this pick, most likely Oher.

Research says that OLine is Washington's biggest need and Oher seems to be the or one of the top guys left at the position.

Duh. Mine is a no-brainer.

All this talk of NO going RB in the 1st round is nonsense, IMO. They do not have any other 1st day picks. I don't see how they don't address defense with that selection. This pick is about as close as a lock as you'll see this far down as i think Jenkins makes it here and NO doesn't pass on him.

1.15 - The Texans will look for help at the LB spot with no big time CB available. It was a toss up among which USB LB to take, so I went with Clay Matthews, to continue the Oilers namesake. Hopefully steroid reports don't burn him.

Maualuga playing with Merriman could be scary in San Diego.

I am not sure Freeman is the best pick, but I don't think he has a shot at making it back around in the second round, so the Jets reach by 12 pioks or so to take him.

Denver needs alot of help on the defensive line. I have Jerry and Hood ranked the same, so I went with the bigger of the two.

I've seen some mocks predicting TB to go LB and select Cushing, but I just don't see it. Defense is not their most pressing need and Cushing isn't an elite talent from what I've read.

With Galloway gone and only Bryant to count on (scary), WR is a huge need and Harvin is a big-time talent.

Would Seattle take Sanchez over Crabtree and an OLineman?

I would have taken Freeman for Detroit had he still been there. With Freeman off the board defense is the biggest need. Matthews would have been my first choice but those pesky teams taking players Detroit needs...

Tough choice for Minnesota. QBs are gone. There aren't really any safeties worth taking at this point. My choices were Heyward-Bey, Will Beaty, Davis or Maybin. So any of those could have went to Minny.

I think New England would be pretty happy with getting Davis here. CB is their biggest need and they get arguably the most talented one in the draft.

Philly is talking about moving up in the draft to grab Moreno. With him still on the board at 21, he's really a no brainer here for them. With Westbrook nearing the end of his career, the Eagles will be looking for a viable replacement as they have no one on their roster to fill the vacancy. They need a back who can run and catch and Moreno should fill those needs.

I'd have to look back to see but I think I have picked a DT for the Colts just about every year we have done this... they picked up one via free agency once but have never drafted one. I still think a wide body in the middle would be nice.

I could also see them taking a CB with the first pick. There's a lot of local talk of bringing in a WR to replace Marvin/help Gonzalez for #2/#3 WR spot and a little bit of talk about maybe picking an RB but I REALLY hope they look to the defense with this first pick.

As for Baltimore, research indicated that this is a very possible pick for them.
