Greetings!
I am in an early Dynasty League draft real soon and I have the first pick. Is Jonathan Stewart a legit pick for the long run? His situation in Carolina may be better than Darren's I'm thinking. I don't follow college football so maybe there is a more compelling pick out there you guys know of. Any insights will be appreciated. Thanks Diode |

McFadden has the highest upside.
Stewart should be a good steady RB for many years. I know many people think McFadden has a very high ceiling but I think his floor is lower than Stewart's too. It depends on whether you want to go for the gusto and hope McFadden is what a lot say he is or go for the guy who may never be great but should be steady. I don't think McFadden is a huge risk and if he were almost anywhere but Oakland I'd say his risk was even less. So either guy is a good pick, it probably depends on what you need to get you over the hump. |

Thanks for your insight ravage. I have taken over a dead team in last place so a possible instant gratification type player is a bit premature for the team. I'm going to see if I can trade down and still get Stewart along with a quality player who starts to bolster up the team a bit. Diode |

Good idea if you can do it. Just don't trade down too far. Stewart will go #2, at least he has in most drafts. After those two it gets pretty iffy. Although some owners like Mendenhall as much as or more than Stewart. Forte will be given every chance to start in Chicago but I don't know how much that is worth.
