I didn't draft a kicker or a defense yet because I wanted to grab some extra sleepers before the season kicks off to see what they do. It's a performance type league with 6 pts for rush/rec TDs, 3 for passing, 10 yards=1 pts, 1 point for every 20 yards passing.

Anyhow, your opinion on my team?

You are going to need alot to work out right at RB to be really good. I like your WRs, and Witten is strong. QB is a question mark.

Yeah, RB and QB are the shaky points for sure. I took Campbell because it looked like he is way more comfortable in that system Zorn installed (until Sat night) and Zorn has had great success with guys like Hasselback in the past. Rodgers will either be really good or really bad. With my RBs, I've been reading all these stories that Ricky stops by the Tuna's office every day for a chat (that makes me think he'll get more touches)...Hall looks like the short yardage/goalline guy for the Broncos...Johnson and Rice, if things fall right, would be starters...and I'm hoping that Duece's leg finally falls off and Thomas gets a chance.

Daniels isn't chopped liver either and he's in a contract year, as is Hall and Campbell kind of with the guy from Hawaii doing so well in the games he has been in so far.

I still have to drop two by the beginning of the season though and grab a kicker and defense...so we'll see.

I'm not too high on Gore this year mostly because I think he's really all the 49ers have. I'd make whoever the QB ends up being there try to beat me. If that ends up true, you might be hurting at RB unless Johnson gets the nod early in Tenn.

Campbell and Rodgers are shakey, keep your fingers crossed there.

Provided you start 2 WR and 1 TE, you look to be decent there.

Might be a tough year, but if a few things fall into place you might surprise some people too. That's the fun of Fantasy Football.

Your team could be ok, but I don't like their chances at all. Your WR's and Witten are stud's but as has been already said, your QB and RB's are problems.

I think that you'll be ok at QB because I like both Campbell and Rodgers as sleepers, so one of them will probably turn out to work. If not, you can probably get away with playing matchups.

At RB, I don't like Gore as much as most this year, but he's still a first rounder, so he's not bad. I personally like Turner very much this year, but I don't like any other RB on your squad. Williams has definately upgraded his status so far in the preseason, and Rice might be a good sleeper if Willis's knee issues continue to linger. Good luck man. Could you please respond to my topic.

Our keeper rule is one that the player is under contract...if you keep him or trade him to another team (unless the you the owner or the person you traded him to throws him back in the draft the next year)...for three years. So Fitz was drafted in 05, his contract was up this year and he was thrown back into the draft this year...so was LT, S. Jackson, L. Johnson and some other blue chippers. This was our first round of the 3 year rule kicking in, made for an interesting draft.

Which draft pick do you have? If you have an oppurtunity to pick Steven Jackson or Tomlinson by dropping all of your keepers I would do that instead of keeping Gore & co.

I had the #7 overall pick. Our keeper option works a bit different than other leagues, you loose rounds 13-15 instead of giving compensation for keeping someone. So when you start at round one, you are really in about round 4 or so, but not this year with LT, Jackson and Fitz and such around (due to their 3 year contracts expiring) in the 1st. We don't penalize people for drafting good players.

I am not a fan of your QBs. Cambell is very hit and miss. Gore is good and Turner could be very big...but there is not much help on your bench. Your WRs are awesome, as are your TEs. IMHO you need to up your QB badly. I feel that is your weakest area, with your RBs next. As long as Turner proves himself, you should be ok there. Good luck.
