The more I looked at this, the more I liked it. It at gives some of the smaller conferences a shot to show what they are made of.

I saw that the other day also. At first, I thought they should limit the smaller conferences to maybe 2-3 teams and create more at-large spots. But, the more I think about it, the better his plan looks. The other thing I didn't like was playing the 1st 3 rounds at home sites. I like playing at neutral sites. Again, after thinking about it a little, I think he's right. By giving the higher seeds the home field, you retain the importance of the regular season. Also, the games would certainly be sell-outs, unlike many bowl games, even some of the top ones. I'd still consider playing the final four at neutral sites. By then, the games would still sell out no matter where you played.
