Sitting here watching this guy in the first round of the homerun derby and he just put up 28 homeruns versus 10 non-homeruns (a new record).

Mostly I'm pointing this out for Skip, who I know appreciates a great baseball swing and I think will enjoy watching this guy's first round on youtube.

That was freaking incredible. He hit at least 3 over 500 ft. A great story for the guy too, who overcame years of drug addiction. It was definitely fun to watch. Too bad he didn't win the whole thing, it looked like Justin Morneau felt guilty about taking the trophy. He didn't hit as many HR's combined as Hamilton did in the 1st round.

Not the first time a guy has gone all out in the first round and run out of gas for the final, but you can't blame Hamilton for giving it everything he had in the first round and wouldn't have it any other way.
