Reading my last few posts you'd think I've lost my ass this week, it seems everything I announce ends up losing. What you don't know is I only announce half my bets or so, and the ones I don't announce always win. I've played 3 MLB games this week and won all 3. I almost want to share my game for tonight, but I'm afraid it'll ruin my chances. Oh well, here goes anyway, just to test the theory.

My big play of the night is Oakland over KC. Oakland is going for the great 20 game record, they are at home and have Hudson on the mound against Byrd who's not bad (15-10, 3.44 ERA). They are -1.5 tonight, I'm going to do an "if bet" with San Francisco (the Giants) being the second half of the bet.

Hope I didn't just shoot myself in the foot.

We were playing the Cowboys, and he always told us he would have loved to just go out in the middle of the field and fight Tom Landry, settle it that way if it was up to him....George Allen HOF 2002

Go figure roll eyes Oakland explodes in the first for 6 runs and leads 11-0 after 3 innings. Looks like things are in hand and they'll easily cover the -1.5 spread. *Then* in the 8th inning the Royals come out of nowhere to score 5 runs, and another in the 9th with 2 outs to tie the score at 11. Oakland wins it in the 9th with a 1 run HR, game ends 12-11.

That's it, I am never posting my bet here again, this was an absolute lock if I hadn't posted here, in fact that bets on the night that I didn't post here (Chicago Cubs and an Agassi/Hewitt parlay) all won and made me a winner on the night.

I seriously think there's some bad karma involved with this board, I need to go to the Jungle with Jim Rome and get some Jungle Karma
