I received a trade offer today that would give me Jason Witten and Greg Jennings for Dallas Clark and Vincent Jackson. I think the person offering this is trying to pick my pocket! Not that I don’t like Greg Jennings but I have Donald Driver and so far he is the better WR on that team. Our rosters are below.

I will drop Cassel next week after Flacco and Orton are off byes. I considered keeping only Flacco but Orton is good enough to carry me if Flacco goes down and I doubt I would get another QB as good anytime later without a trade deal. I will pick up a D to play this week and will drop a player to do so. NE, MIA, AD, CIN, Chicago, DAL, WA defenses are available.

I could use help with my RBs and like Mendenhall, Rice or Williams, maybe even Bradshaw could be useful. I don’t see why he wants to offer me a TE and WR in this trade.

I lead my division by two games at 5-1. The person making the offer leads his division by 1 game at 4-2. I lost last year’s championship to the person making the offer. I would like to make a counter offer for one of the RBs he has.

Please give me you analysis of this situation and any advice you may have. Thanks for your time and input.

You seem pretty set at the WR position...

I'd try to target Mendenhall or Ray Rice for one of your lower tier WR's.

Maybe package a WR + Portis for let's say Rice/Mendenhall and Housh/Jennings.
