I need some help figuring out if I should make this trade or not. We start two RBs and two WRs every week (no flex)...6 pts. TD, 1 pt./25 yds...no ppr. My current RBs and WRs are:
Willie Parker
Willis McGahee
Thomas Jones

Marques Colston
Lav. Coles
Dwayne Bowe

Obviously, my WRs are killing me...Colston was on my bench last week because he had sucked up until then. I picked up M. Muhammed to use on Bowe's bye week and he was terrible too, so I released him. Coles has been pretty good, but is banged up now and not sure what will happen with the QB change.

I've been offered the following trade:
Braylon Edwards and either D. Foster or C. Benson FOR either Parker and Bowe, or McGahee and Colston.

The other guy was lucky enough to draft Randy Moss, Reggie Wayne, and Braylon Edwards...but he's hurting at running back.

I wonder if I could get away with starting Thomas Jones every week now that it seems like the Jets should be running the ball more with the young QB. Then I'd have either Parker or MacGahee and T. Jones, with eitehr Foster or Benson on the bench. My WRs would then be L. Coles, Braylon Edwards, and either Colston or Bowe.

Please let me know if I should do it. I'm also near the bottom of my division and feel like I should do something to shake it up. Thanks!!

Those are terrible offers IMO. Edwards has been good and should continue to be but you are giving up more than you are getting easily. You should be able to get more out of McGahee or Parker, IMO. You would just be trading for trading sake and would be worse off after the deal than before.

Again, if you really want to make a move, shop around. You should be able to get a top WR and a better RB than benson/foster in exchange for mcgahee or parker plus one of your WR.

I'd take the Edwards/Foster for Parker/Bowe offer. There's a much bigger drop from Edwards to your #3 WR than there is from Parker/McGahee to Foster.
