I'm considering using a waiver pick to get Tedd Ginn Jr, but in my league's rules waivers are given using the draft value (round drafted) of the player being given up. This is modified by some keeper league factors, but here's the situation ...

I can have a very solid chance of getting Ginn if I give up Boldin for him. Boldin is coming back from an injury to his WR2 spot and will have Rattay throwing to him.

My other choice is to give up Jerry Porter for Ginn, who has a lower draft value, so there's more of a chance someone else will get him.

In either case, if I don't get Ginn I would keep the player I already have. My current WR corps is:

Harrison, Marvin IND
Boldin, Anquan ARI
Jones, James GBP
Jurevicius, Joe CLE
Jones, Brandon TEN
Randle El, Antwaan WAS
Porter, Jerry OAK

So with starting 3 WR's ever week, you can see I'm in some serious need of help. Outside of Boldin and Porter (and Harrison), the other WR's would have no chance of getting Ginn at all.

In a keeper league you are considering giving up Boldin to add Ginn? No way does Ginn have that kind of value. Use Porter or someone else.

i can see how ginn is tempting...but until the fins get a qb i think ginn will be nothing but a tease, a few flashes but nothing steady.

I agree with the above two. No way should you drop Boldin for him and Porter has more value then Ginn IMO. Even without Chambers, Ginn isnt going to be anywhere near consistant..I'd stay with what you have.

Ok .. so I'll hang on to Porter and Boldin.

If I wanted to make a stab at Ginn, would you consider any of the others?

Jones, James GBP (sticking with him for a "keeper")
Jurevicius, Joe CLE
Jones, Brandon TEN
Randle El, Antwaan WAS

If anyone else makes a waiver for Ginn (and it's likely since this is South Florida) I won't get him, but on the outside chance .. which one?

If you're dead set on acquiring Ginn, I think Brandon Jones makes the most sense. Even so, I don't think you're really gaining anything. Short or long term, the prospects of getting production out of Ginn seem limited right now.

definitely cut Jones and try to grab ginn...who knows, maybe your hunch is on. with chambers gone ginn will surely play more.
