I've fielded an offer of either Clinton Portis or Kevin Smith in exchange for draft choice(s).

FYI - my league is a keeper league. We keep 6 out of 17 starting 8 each week( 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR/TE, 1 K, 1 HC). Scoring is 1 pt per 25 yards rushing/receiving with any TD equaling 6 pts.

That said, who might be worth such a trade? Portis or Smith?

Or, considering I'm 1 - 6 at the halfway point, should hold my draft choices and 'play out the string'?

You should be getting more offers if Smith is available. He is DET's #1RB now and in the future.

Thanks for the reply---but I wasn't clear enough. I'd be GETTING Smith or Portis for my draft choice.

Even if you have the #1 overall pick, I doubt there will be a player of K. Smith's caliber available if you are keeping 6 players. He is easily worth that pick.

Kevin Smith would be a steal. A 7th rd pick for a potential top 10 RB. Love it.
