Mine is a 10 team, keeper league. We keep 6 out of 17 each year. We start 8: 1 HC, 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR (a TE is counted as a WR), 1 K, 1 D/ST. We score 1 pt each 25 yards rushing/receiving, 50 yards passing. Any TD is 6.

My current roster is:
HC Tomlin, Pitt
QB P. Manning
RB Addai, Benson, Lewis, McFadden, Rhodes, White
WR Bowe, Bryant, A. Gonzalez, Harrison, Jennings, E. Royal
K Prater
D/ST Jax, Pitt

I'd like to get a fairly strong RB to bolster my roster for the playoffs (believe it or now, the above roster is 8 - 3)and I'm targeting Marshawn Lynch (the owner is 3-7-1).
My initial offer will be LenDale White, Antonio Bryant and a 2nd round draft choice next season for Lynch.

Is this is good offer that he might accept or am I insulting him and need to make a better offer?

You need to do better.

Bowe, Rhodes and the 2nd round draft choice? That good enough?

Well, you have at least put in a keepable player in Bowe - the other offer didn't give the other owner anything of value. Still, you are offering a productive WR, a backup RB and an 8th round pick to try to get a 1st round RB. If he accepts, good for you. But given this is keeper league, he shouldn't undersell a valuable RB like that. With his record, he can only be thinking about next season, so you need to offer at least 1 or 2 players he can keep. Consider offering a player like McFadden who has minimal value this season but who could pay dividends to him in the future. Right now he is still an unknown commodity. He could end up being a bust and you land Lynch for him. Or he ends up being productive and you give value for value. You win in the short term and at least break even in the longer term.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, the guy who owns Lynch never answered my offer and now we've past the trade deadline.

Gotta with what I've got.
