OK, I lost Vick last weekend, and in a keeper salary cap league I don't have many QB's to grab in our soon coming draft. I was offered Trent Green ($1) Barlow($1) and K-Rob ($10) for Henry ($35) and Chambers ($6)
I free up 30 dollars for draft night which means I can compete for any rookie and some FA's. There's not a lot. My roster now is Vick, Brees, Williams, Henry, boston, Price, Chambers and Gonzo. I was thinking of dropping Brees to see if I could nail Plummer, Stewart, or Holcomb.
I can start 2 RB and 2 WR's or 1 RB and 3 WR's. I know I lose Henry, but do I make up enough in those other to warrant the deal?

Tough call to lose Henry but I would do the trade. Koren is better then Chambers so you get a huge upgrade at WR plus losing Vick certainly hurts but getting Green will help that...he will be huge this year. Barlow is decent but not great. The positive thing is that he is young just like Henry and should be getting more and more carries this year. If you could get a more stable RB then Barlow I would be jumping all over this trade but if not I still think it helps your team overall. As far as Brees...I would keep him but Holcolmb and Plummer are also decent choices.

I'd take it also, freeing up $35 is big. Green is a steal @ $1 and Chambers stinks anyways.
That should give you enough money to replayce henry in the draft hopefully. Plus you'll uprgade WR and QB.
It's a wash with Brees, Holcomb and Plummer.
But I may lean towards Holcomb because of all the weapons Clev has at WR.
