Background: We can keep 3 players or none, it will not effect draft position or anything. It is completly up to the owner to keep or not.

Should I make this deal.

I send:
Shaun Alexander
1.6
8.4

I get:
Ahman Green
1.7
2.7
8.7

This guy has hounded me for days. I think I should try to sqeeze him. I think it should be like this since he wants him so bad.

I send:
Shaun Alexander
4th rd pick
5th rd pick

I get:
Ahman Green
2nd rd pick
3rd rd pick

We are talking about two great running backs. I like Ahman, cuz of the versatility(Had him last year). Should I just drop it if he does not take my deal?

Thanks in advance

I'd go with Green too.
Alexander has Dilfer at the Helm and they're in a tougher conference.

I'd do the first deal... First of all the trade straight across for green is borderline even although I have Alexander 1 spot ahead of green its a wash....you get a sweet second round pick and the 8th round pick is a wash because at that time you'll most likely get a "need" pick...good luck and if you dont do the deal Alexander will treat your team just fine.

I would do it in a heartbeat. As others have said, Green and Alexander are pretty much equal at this point. So basically you are trading those equally and getting a 2nd rounder (5th round if you count the keepers) just to move down 1 spot in the first (really 4th) and 3 spots in the eighth (really 11th). You make out quite well in the deal if you ask me.

I can't see any reason not to attempt your offer. If he doesn't go for it, revise it only slightly by insisting on keeping 1.6 and accepting the second round pick while moving down in the 8th. If you had approached him it might be different, but counter-offers should be EXPECTED!.
