I was pretty pumped but after all this news, not so happy right now.

I had Holt in my top 3 WR with Wayne and TO further down. Did I make a huge mistake?

Considering the news has been out for a while, I would say so as I would have taken both Wayne and TO over him. However, you still shouldn't be too disappointed as I still think he'll put up fantastic #'s.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting him to be there. We have a keeper and I wanted a true blue #1 not a #1a so to speak.

Because I wasn't expecting him, I really didn't pay much attention to his issues since I hadn't seen anything overt in the press until later. I heard it was routine and not going to impact his season.

Oh well, the joys of FFB. I love it every year!

I wouldn't put too much stock in those reports. He's one of the best in the game. Holt at 80% is still a top-5 guy. We hear reports like this every year about how a stud is going to be limited, and then they go out and put up their usual numbers. I wouldn't be worried at all. In fact, it's the guys that pass up a guy in the draft over news like this that usually get burned. Remember all the people who avoided TO last year?

Also, remember Winslow saying something to the effect of he'll never be better than 75% his entire career?

Then he went out and caught 89 balls last year. These %'s are completely arbitrary and pretty meaningless, IMO. The bottomline is if the guy is out on the field or not. Holt won't disappoint. But it's a good lesson to learn to read up on top players because you never know what will happen in a draft.

Remember when P. Holmes was sliding all the way to the 5th pick because everyone was afraid he wasn't going to be 100%. I think he set the TD record that year.

Well I am hoping that is the case Frown). I look at my two starting WR as my best strength with my backs more middle of the road.
