A lot of scoring... 6 for td's, carries, receptions, 100 yard games, distance...all get points. We start 2 QB, and then 2 or 3 RB, 2 or 3 WR (2rb and 3 wr or 3wr and 2 rb)

My team:
QB Matt Leinart, ARI
QB Jake Delhomme, CAR
QB Kyle Boller, BAL
QB David Garrard, JAC
RB Shaun Alexander, fa
RB Ronnie Brown, MIA
RB Darius Walker, HOU
RB Tatum Bell, DET
RB Maurice Morris, SEA
WR Randy Moss, NE
WR Plaxico Burress, NYG
WR Ronald Curry, OAK
WR Antwaan Randle El, WAS
TE Chris Cooley, WAS
TE Marcus Pollard, NE

HIS:
QB Vince Young, TEN
QB JaMarcus Russell, OAK
RB Adrian Peterson, MIN
RB Brandon Jackson, GB
RB Jerious Norwood, ATL
RB LenDale White, TEN
RB Steven Jackson, STL
WR Calvin Johnson, DET
WR Greg Jennings, GB
WR Santonio Holmes, PIT
WR Dwayne Jarrett, CAR
WR Chris Davis, TEN
TE Vernon Davis, SF
PK Nate Kaeding, SD

He offered to me:

JaMarcus Russell for Matt Leinart
Stephen Jackson Ronnie Brown
Santonio Holmes 1st rd(10th overall) and 4th rd.

Does this help me? DO it?

ummm, yeah. Stephen Jackson by himself makes this a good trade. The fact that you get a legit WR and a young starting QB makes this almost stupid it is so one sided to you.

Dang, what a lopsided trade in your favor. Those don't come along everyday.

Wow! Unless I'm missing something, you're making out like a bandit, especially if Brown will have to split time at all with Ricky, and Lineart is not even sure to keep the starting job. He must really want the draft pick...

Take it.

What do we need a scoreboard for? We haven't scored any runs all season.

This is perhaps the worst offer I have ever seen made by anyone in fantasy football. Hopefully not all of the owners are this stupid, it wouldn't be much fun if they are.

Take the trade quickly before sanity comes to the other owner. Then if this kind of thing is fairly common find a league that has a little more of a challenge.

Well he changed his mind.

It is now,

Lienart
My 1st and 2nd

for

Jackson

I think this is better for me... the picks are not great as most players are gone. And now I get to keep Ronnie and have jackson instead of having to start tatum bell...

your thoughts?

It's helpful to know your keeper rules, but I do it. I think Leinart is going to lose his job again and Jackson is a top 3 pick in a redraft. He's way more valuable than a 1st and 2nd in a keeper league.

He must know something about Jackson that the rest of us don't.

Forgot that important info....

we keep 13 players, so the picks are not that bad to give up...

The picks are nothing, you are giving up Leinhart, a 14th, and a 15th rounder for a top 3-5 pick. Maybe he's a USC homer or something?

Evidently just stupid.

I just looked at the keeper rules. It seems we keep 13 players, 3 IDP, 1 team def, 1 k and 1 te which leaves 7 players (2 qb, 2rb, 2wr and one other) Still though, My 1st round pick is really 108th...

Just occured to me that this is essentially a dynasty league and, depending on where in the 1st round that pick is, could be a pretty valuable rookie. Still doesn't make the trade close to fair, but a 1st round pick in a rookie draft is a lot more valuable than a 14th rounder in a re-draft.

Has the trade gone through yet?

Yes it did...

I thought about the rookies, but I have the 10th pick...Jackson is 24.. So I think it is still good...

Unless you had the picks to get ALL of the top rookie RBs, this is far beyond "still good". With zero guarantee that any of the rookies will have productive careers, this isn't even close.

Agreed. The was nothing here to even think about. This trade was a no brainer and a gift.
