Round 1 2008 pick and Rudi Johnson for Laurence Maroney and Round 1 2008 pick.

Some background:
The pick that goes along with Rudi the team currently is tied for best record with two other teams at 4-1.

The pick that goes with Maroney the team is the only 0-5 team. All other teams are at least 2-3.

The owner that has Rudi has 3-1st round picks, 3-2nd round picks, 1-3rd round pick, and 1-4th round pick.

The point is to try to acquire what could be the #1 pick in the draft next year.

I'm currently 2-3 with some slight hope of being playoff bound, IMO. No depth at RB. I have Gore and Rudi. The #1 pick could give me that depth.

I would make that offer. Of course, Rudi and Larry have been hurt, but for a chance at a better draft choice. I would make the offer.

I'd do it. At this point, Rudi isn't going to live up to his stats of the past three seasons. The Bengals defense is just that bad. And Maroney has 4 less seasons of mileage and is on a much better team for offensive stats. If it nets you the top college RB next year, I think it's worth it.
