Basic scoring league with 3 extra points for big game, 100 yd rb,wr, 300 yds for Qb.

Here's the question, can keep one player from last season, A.Johnson or DeAng.Williams or go open and get maybe MJD or Larry Fitzg/R.Moss and have 2nd pick in 1st round to get one of three or others. Each 10 teams can keep one player.

Two killer Wr's or play it RB and Wr studs? Seems like backs are plentiful but Wr studs are more consistent.

So the way I read this if you keep a player you lose your 1st rd pick? Hard to go wrong with DeWill or AJ and you aren't really risking anything dropping everyone as you are guaranteed one of them back - with the possibility of someone better being there.

What is the "basic" scoring? PPR?

So are you the second pick and you forfeit that if you keep a player? AJ and Deangelo are really good players, but if you think that there will be better players available, then I guess you do it. Do you know the keepers in advance? How would MJD/Fitz/Moss be available already? Does the guy that owns them also have Peterson or Turner or Forte? How else can you be sure that MJD/Fitz, etc, gets released? I'm with Skip though, that PPR league gives huge boost to MJD/AJ/Fitz, so you have to take that into consideration.

In this league you can keep one player from last seasons roster or you can claim "none" which means after everyone has claimed their franchise pick from last years roster you can get best available player. I have Dewill or AJ on my roster or I can gamble claim "none" and try to get LF or MJD who will be available and an upgrade. One team has AP and MJD and he leans AP another has similar with LF. If more than one claims "none" then it's random draw for a target player. You make your decision first then you know who's available for the franchise round. It can be a gamble if others also claim "none" and say you are 5th.
Basic scoring is just normal touchdown scoring but extra points are given to positions that reach 100 yards in a game for example wr and rb's. Qbs have to get 300 yds for their xtra points not a lot but adds up kind of PPR.
Both MJD and Dwill have tough SOS so I'm leaning WR keeper rnd. then at #2 in the 1st rnd get another Wr. What do you think abandon Rb's that high?
