In most cases, I wont be posting two players together, but I think in this case it makes some sense.

Rice is going 3 to 4 rounds earlier in drafts, so obviously most believe he will be the top WR for the Vikings this season. The question is what will the top WR for the Vikings produce? There seems some sentiment in favor of Tarvaris Jackson. While he may have the talent, he has yet to show it on the football field. The focus will undoubtedly be on AP in that offense.

What can we expect from Rice and Berrian in 2008?

Why do we trust the same people to tell us about global warming that can't get the weather right for this coming weekend?

I'm hoping for a ton from them since I have both in FIDO. Big Grin

Truthfully I was disappointed when Berrian first signed in Minnesota. As you stated Skip, the biggest question I can see with both of these guys is Jackson.

I really like Rice and I think he has a chance to be a very good WR in the NFL for a long time. But I have to tell you in a redraft or a limited number keeper I wouldn't either of these guys very early. There are too many varibles to make it worth the risk.

If Jackson develops into the QB Minny expected him to be when they drafted him it would be very wise for Childress to use the passing game to get that 8th man out of the box. If Jackson has a good year offensively Minnesota could develop into one of the better offensives in the NFL.

These two guys can't do it without a QB who can accurately throw the ball and at least throw some deep balls.

Can you imagine how dangerous AP would be if the passing game is actually effective?

Another thing against these two is that Childress is among the worst coaches in the NFL.

This pretty much sums it up, and why I'll avoid all Vikings except AP. Oh ya, none of them are very good either.

Come on now S.G., anyone drafting A.P. must handcuff him with Chester Taylor. I assume you just left that part out?

Good point Advisor, I would attempt to do that if I landed AP.
