are any leagues awarding Randy Moss for a point for his interception today? I remember quite some years ago when Keyshawn Johnson picked one off but I forgot how most leagues handled that...
I play in a IDP league and Moss will not get any points for the INT.
You have to be slotted in the defensive position to get points. That is the whole reason for drafting defensive players. It is unlike a play where you have a team and a WR picks up a fumble or as Moss did, in getting the INT.
It works the same way if you have a CB, like Hester a few years ago, getting catches on the offense. He does not get those points, because they are not a scoring option for his position.
So, unless a leagues scoring system specifically states RB and WRs can get defensive stats, which would seem odd, then there will be no points awarded.
